TEMPLE, Texas — Every Monday evening in downtown Temple, a group of women lace up their sneakers, leash up their dogs and hit the sidewalks together. They're not training for a marathon or following a fitness plan, they're simply searching for something that's become increasingly rare: genuine connection.

This is the Hot Girl Sidewalk Society, a walking group that's turning strangers into friends, one stroll at a time.

"I do brows, I talk to women all day every day," founder Amanda Hughling said, "But I really just sensed this like hunger for community."

Hughling, who owns a brow studio in downtown Temple, spends her days talking to women from all walks of life. Through these conversations, she noticed a pattern. Temple, she felt, was missing something crucial.
