GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - It was all magic and mayhem at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center today as witches took over for the center’s third annual Witches Brunch.

Mothers and daughters filled the museum, dressed head to toe in witchy costumes, celebrating the Halloween season in style. This year’s theme — “Witches Resort” — transformed the venue into a spooky getaway complete with music, dancing, themed food, and plenty of photo ops.

The brunch serves as a fundraiser for the museum, helping support educational and creative programming for children year-round. Organizers say it’s a project that takes nearly a year to plan and a week to assemble.

Tickets usually go on sale in August and sell out fast, but organizers say they’re already “brewing up” ideas for next year’s event.
