ESPANOLA — For the second-straight game, the Timmins Rock ran into a red-hot goaltender at the Regional Recreation Complex, Saturday night.
This time, however, they were able to get enough pucks past Paper Kings goalie Logan Vale to force overtime and salvage a single point from a 4-3 setback.
The Paper Kings defeated the Rock 3-1 in the first half of their NOJHL home-and-home series at the McIntyre Arena, Friday night, with Vale making 42 saves.
“Well, we lost again and that’s never good,” said Rock coach and general manager Brandon Perry, summing up his frustrations.
“That guy (Vale) was unbelievable, probably the story of the game. I think he beat us both nights by himself, but we have got to stop saying this stuff. ‘Well, we played good, but we lost.’ We have got to start translati
