BANGOR -- The Bangor Police Department and Bomb Team responded to an incident on Venture Way in Bangor Sunday.

According to Sgt. Jason McAmbley with the Bangor Police Department, their bomb team responded to a report of a potential explosive device at 120 Venture Way.

McAmbley says the scene was searched and secured.

He says there is no danger to the public.
