The British Museum hosted its first Met-inspired fundraising ball. The theme was "pink", yeah, just "pink" and yet some people dressed off-theme

Isha Ambani was the Chair of the inaugural British Museum ball.

Apparently, tickets to the ball were sold privately to around 800 people, costing £2,000 (a minuscule fraction of the cost of a MET Gala ticket).
