NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Saturday's severe weather threat has rolled out to the Carolinas leaving behind very pleasant conditions here in southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi for Sunday evening.

Starting out with just the temperatures, while we got pretty warm on Sunday in the upper 80s, this evening will cool down into the low 60s...

But let's not forget to mention that we will have CLEAR SKIES in the evening so be sure to check out the moon and stars on the balcony or patio!

While you're enjoying the evening view, you may want to grab a blanket because it'll be a bit breezy in some spots particularly along the coast out in Empire with wind gusts of 24-mph at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday and New Orleans won't be that far behind at 22-mph.

The North Shore will also be breezy in Ponchatoula
