BELLEVUE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A 17-year-old boy was killed Saturday night in a shooting at the Forest Park Apartments in Bellevue.
Metro Police say witnesses reported the incident started with a fight between two women outside the apartments. After the fight, they say two parties started shooting and then ran from the area.
Ja’Quan Nolan, 17, who was visiting friends at the complex, was shot and killed at the scene.
A 24-year-old man was also hit and was taken to the hospital with a graze wound to the chest. Police say he told them he was not involved in the shooting. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
