AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person was critically injured Sunday evening after a collision involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle in south Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
ATCEMS posted on X that the crash occurred at the intersection of South First Street and Southpark Meadows Drive. Medics initially responded to reports of a motorcycle versus pedestrian incident, where they found an adult patient receiving CPR at the scene.
Shortly after, ATCEMS confirmed that one adult patient had been transported to St. David's South Austin Hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved or provided additional details about the circumstances of the crash.
