ARLINGTON, Texas – Last Friday, Brian Schottenheimer made the surprise announcement that Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs would be out on Sunday against the Commanders after suffering a concussion in "an accident" at his home.

Both Schottenheimer and Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones were asked about Diggs' situation and status going forward after the game, but did not have many details to reveal.

"The combination of the injury and how it impacted… regarding a concussion issue, I'm not so sure that I know the detail of how that happened," Jones said. "Not the way I would if there had been an injury on the field. We normally would see that on TV, see how an injury happens, and in this particular case, it was unrecorded."
