Hamilton, N.Y. — A woman died in a crash Sunday afternoon in Madison County, deputies said.

The woman was identified as Laurie Jones, 70, of East Amherst, according to a news release from Lt. Jonathan Morticelli, a spokesperson for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at about 4:55 p.m. at State Route 12 and Tackabury Road in the town of Hamilton.
