Neo-nazis shouting “Heil Australia” were among disturbing scenes in the Perth CBD as thousands gathered for a March for Australia anti-immigration rally as part of nationwide action.
Organisers estimated the massive, flag-waving crowd was up to 15,000 strong, with black-clad members of the nation’s biggest far-right group, the National Socialist Network (NSN), among them.
WA Police estimated a still huge 10,000 attendees.
The small group of fascists wore jackets with the Helly Hansen “HH” logo on their breasts and Union Jacks on their sleeves, and clashed with other nationalists as they were denied a platform in the official proceedings.
