Seattle is coming off a convincing win in Jacksonville and has been one of the most efficient teams in football through 6 weeks. The Seahawks’ defense ranks among the top 10 in both points allowed and DVOA, while their pass rush has been relentless, boasting an 8.1% sack rate that should cause problems for Houston’s offensive line — a unit that’s already surrendered 11 sacks and ranks near the bottom in both pass- and run-block win rate.

On the other side, Darnold has been sensational, leading the league with 9.3 yards per attempt and ranking near the top in overall efficiency metrics. He’s clearly thriving under Seattle’s system, distributing the ball with confidence to a deep receiver corps led by Smith-Njigba.

Meanwhile, the Texans feel a bit overvalued after wins over a pair of struggling teams. Their offensive line can’t keep Stroud upright, and their defense will face one of the NFL’s most balanced offenses on the road in one of the league’s loudest stadiums.

Seattle is the better team, with the better quarterback, at home — and laying just 3 points.
