TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —If you are looking for some spooky fun and a chance to help with a cause, People for Pets has you covered.

This Saturday October 25, the organization will put on Building Hope with a Haunt. This event features dinner, dancing, drinks, and even a costume party.

This is the first time People for Pets has put on something like this, with the goal to help them raise $400,000 to cover the cost of an expansion project for the Twin Falls Animal Shelter.

Director Debbie Blackwood said they’ve raised $800,000 so far, and need the rest of the money to achieve the goal. The expansion will help improve the care for the many animals they take in.
