Residents of Kasavanahalli and Sarjapur Road on Saturday reclaimed the much-needed footpath and beautified black spots to promote sustainable mobility. A group of volunteers from the Kasavanahalli Development Forum (KDF) took the lead in sprucing up the stretch to prioritise walkability , last-mile connectivity, and sustainable transport. The initiative, part of the “Walkable Kasavanahalli Road” campaign, aims to enhance pedestrian and commuter safety along one of Bengaluru’s busiest corridors. It also aligns with a broader plan to rejuvenate the Outer Ring Road–Sarjapur corridor through an integrated mobility approach.
