ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — A new food fest took Orchard Park by storm this weekend.

The festival, called Pepper Palooza, was serving up various versions of the popular tailgate favorite, stuffed banana peppers.

Restaurants from across Western New York gathered to give their own takes on the popular appetizer. Variations ranged from more traditional stuffing like meats and cheeses, to pepper pizzas and soups.

All proceeds from the event were donated three local charities, those being Wings Flights of Hope, Special Olympics of WNY, and the NYS Restaurant Association Scholarship Fund.

All of the peppers for the event were provided by Eden Valley Growers.
