CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A recent zoning decision in the City of Tonawanda is drawing strong opposition from neighbors who say they don’t want a cannabis growing operation in their residential neighborhood.

Late last month, the City of Tonawanda Zoning Board of Appeals approved a variance request allowing a cannabis cultivation facility to move into a property on Mill Street, near the Twin Cities Memorial Highway.
