The City of Vincent has been crowned Western Australia ’s most liveable location and the second most liveable in the nation according to the 2025 Australian Liveability Census.
The census is conducted every two years by social research company Place Score, and measures what it’s like to live in communities across Australia .
The survey gathered insights from more than 27,000 Australians across 15,000 neighbourhoods, rating areas against 50 liveability areas which included safety, access to shops and cafes, medical services, nightlife, natural environment, and visual appeal.
Australians said green spaces, clubs and activities, and a strong sense of connection and inclusion are just as important to liveability as housing or transport options.
