LA MESA, CA - Protestants have long been moved and encouraged by the Actes and Monuments , or Foxe's Book of Martyrs , an account of many believers who were persecuted for their faith.

Now, Foxe's is being re-released with the latest martyr for Christ: local man Brian Carter, who was violently and senselessly censored on Facebook for his beliefs.

"We wanted all future generations to be uplifted by Carter's tale of posting a Bible verse on Facebook only to have the algorithm hide his post," said a historian assigned to rewrite the classic work of Christian history with the new addition. "Brian is a true hero, to be remembered among the likes of the Apostle Paul, Peter, and Stephen for his brave martyrdom for Christianity."
