Global Star Ram Charan failed to entertain his fans this year, as his Sankranti film Game Changer bombed big time, but his efforts were recognised. With more energy and dedication, he is coming in next year with Peddi, and Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana is the helmer.

On Diwali, Buchi Babu was asked by the media to reveal updates on Peddi. He dropped not one but three updates. He said that AR Rahman had given a wonderful love song, which will be released in the next 15–20 days.

Later, he said that they are planning to release the movie on March 26, 2026, a day prior to the previously announced date, to coincide with Sri Rama Navami. Buchi mentioned that they are trying hard to meet the date and finally concluded by saying that more than 60% of the shooting is done, with other works underway
