NEW YORK – As the World Series soon starts without them, the Yankees will begin their organizational meetings, the initial phase of their offseason.

Scouts, evaluators and club officials will gather to offer their ideas for 2026, and which players to target – both internal and external – as upgrades, or to fill current openings.

Following Thursday’s year-end news conference at Yankee Stadium with GM Brian Cashman and manager Aaron Boone, here’s a few scenarios the club faces with three key players:
