Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he turned down the Manchester United job because there were elements of the managerial conversation that he didn't like. The former Liverpool boss has admitted that he was deterred by elements of the role and felt that it was the wrong time for him.
Klopp ultimately turned down United before becoming the manager at Anfield, guiding Liverpool to sustained success. During that period, he helped Liverpool overtake their North West rivals but it might have been different had he taken the role after leaving Borussia Dortmund.
