SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) -- Residents of Spartanburg County are actively addressing gun violence through a series of town hall meetings organized by the Stop the Violence Coalition.
The latest meeting took place at Upstate Family Funeral Services in Greer, where community members gathered to discuss the impact of gun violence and explore potential solutions.
"What we've been doing is going around the city and just talking about the violence issues," said Angela Edwards of the Stop the Violence Coalition. "We have a moderator that we have some victims' families to come out. We also offer some solutions. But what we want to do is just raise awareness about what's going on in Spartanburg County."
