High wind gusts could bring fire threat and blowing dust

High wind gusts kick up across KAKEland, Monday as a cold front slides southeast. The wind will start out of the South for much of the state before turning North and Northwesterly through the afternoon.

The wind gusts are expected to be highest across Western Kansas where gusts could top 50mph!
