Parents planning ahead to herd little goblins from house to house on Halloween to trick-or-treat may want to prepare for a wet holiday, as the forecast shows chances of rain the week of Oct. 29.
Michigan is forecast to see above-normal chances of rain — or snow — especially in northern areas and in the Upper Peninsula, the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center said on Oct. 19.
Meanwhile, the state is likely to see slightly above-normal temperatures.
Forecasts from AccuWeather show northern Michigan, including Gaylord and Ironwood , may get some snow showers with statewide temperatures ranging from the 40s to 60s for Halloween.
