If you wish you could receive a rose from ABC's "Golden Bachelor" Mel Owens, a Detroit native, now's your chance.

Owens is returning home Tuesday, Oct. 21, for a meet-and-greet event to raise money for the American Cancer Society . The first 100 donors will receive their own rose, presented personally by Owens, as he does on the TV show.

The event, from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Born in Detroit store, 1275 Woodward Ave., includes a chance to meet Owens, 66, of Detroit, a selfie photo opportunity, and an event T-shirt.

All of the net proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society and their mission to support breast cancer research, a news release says.
