Starting Monday, 14 days of early voting begin and voters will be able to cast their ballot for this year’s municipal elections ahead of Election Day next month.

If you’re looking to choose your city or town’s next leader, people will have the option of voting early starting Monday. It’s the second general election in Connecticut to have that option.

“I expect actually a lot of people to vote early before Election Day and take advantage of that opportunity,” Dr. Bilal Sekou, a political science professor at the University of Hartford, said.
