REDDING, Calif. - Redding police arrested two people after officers said they discovered drugs and a gun in their home.

On Oct. 16, officers pulled over Sarah Allpress and her passenger Carl Adolfson. They had a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into fentanyl trafficking in Redding.

Police said they found Adolfson with two ounces of fentanyl.

Officers then proceeded to their home on Meteor Street, where they discovered a Remington 700 rifle.

Adolfson is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Both individuals were arrested on several charges, including possession and transportation of fentanyl for sale.
