Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana suffered an injury during the ongoing Women’s World Cup match against Sri Lanka, as she sustained a blow while keeping the stumps. For the team which is standing on the verge of elimination having won just one game, this might came as a big blow.

The incident happened in the 47th over of Sri Lanka’s innings when Sultana took an unexpected blow from a rising ball.

Sultana collapsed on the pitch and was promptly attended to by the team physiotherapist. She walked off the field and was replaced by Rubya Haider as the substitute wicket-keeper.
