Bengaluru Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and another senior company official following the death by suicide of 38-year-old engineer K Aravind. The case has been filed under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to abetment of suicide.

According to the FIR, Aravind, who had been employed with Ola Electric since 2022, was found dead at his residence in Chikkalasandra, Bengaluru, on 28 September.

Investigators recovered a 28-page handwritten note from the scene, which allegedly refers to mental stress and places blame on senior company executives, including the CEO. Police stated that the document has been added to the case evidence and that its contents are being verified.
