Augusta residents can expect temperatures in the high 70s this week, with a chance of rain on the weekend.

“We’re looking only at highs down there throughout this afternoon, about 73, 74 degrees, maybe, and cool again tonight,” Chris Liscinsky, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Columbia, South Carolina, said Monday morning. “We're a little chilly this morning. We'll be looking at lows tonight and into tomorrow morning, generally about 45 degrees.”

Monday : High 73, Low 47.

Tuesday: High 80, Low 53.

Wednesday : High 74 , Low 46.

Thursday: High 74, Low 47.

Friday: High 74, Low 49.
