A woman holding a newborn baby was robbed at knifepoint in Coventry . It happened in the early hours of this morning (October 20).

Three masked men gained entry to a property on Cherrybrook Way in Bell Green at around 2.20am. One of the burglars was believed to be carrying a knife, according to Coventry Police .

It is understood the group threatened the victim, who was holding a newborn child. Police said they demanded money before quickly fleeing.

Detectives have launched a major investigation and urged people with CCTV to come forward. Footage can be provided by calling 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
