SPRING ARBOR, MI — Seniors graduating from a pair of Jackson County school districts now have an easier path to enrolling in college in 2026.

Spring Arbor University announced in mid-October Grass Lake Community Schools and East Jackson Community Schools signed up for the university’s new Deep Roots Direct Admission Program, according to a press release announcing the partnerships.

Through the program, graduating high school seniors who meet the university’s admissions standards are granted automatic acceptance to the university.

The program is designed to make the transition from high school to college more accessible to students while strengthening educational ties within the community and encouraging students to grow in faith, learning and purpose.
