SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Police department is investigating a shootout that happened in a parking ramp at 10th Street and Mall Avenue early Saturday, October 18.

The incident occured around 12:36 am on Saturday when a subject called police, reporting that some people in the parking ramp were being disorderly and refusing to leave.

As police responded, they could hear gunshots coming from inside the ramp, and as more police arrived on scene, multiple vehicles were seen leaving the area.

Detectives have been reviewing video surveillance and talking with witnesses, and have determined that there was some type of dispute between two groups inside the ramp, eventually leading to both groups exchanging gunfire.
