TYRONE, N.Y. (WETM) — A Penn Yan man is dead after a bicycle crash that occurred Sunday evening in the Town of Tyrone, according to a release from the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office.
Leroy Sensenig, 62, of Penn Yan, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred on Sunday, Oct. 19, deputies said.
On Sunday, at about 4:40 p.m., officials were called to State Route 230 near Crystal Valley Road for the report of a man, later identified as Sensenig, who had crashed a bike, resulting in serious injury, the release explained.
Deputies learned through an initial investigation that Sensenig crashed into another bike that was with him while traveling northbound on State Route 230, the release stated. When Sensenig crashed into the other bike, he was ejected, resulting in a serious
