LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - Police say they are responding to a home in Lebanon where a suspect has barricaded himself inside.

The Lebanon Police Department reported that a standoff is happening at Crosswinds Condominiums along Leeville Pike, which is on the southwest end of the city.

“A wanted suspect has barricaded himself inside a home. Any residents in need of evacuation have already been evacuated,” Lebanon PD reported.

A spokesperson for the police department said that Byars Dowdy Elementary School, Winfree Bryant Middle School and child care services at The Journey Church are under a soft lockdown amid the police response.
