SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Teen driving deaths are climbing in Massachusetts. And according to the American Automobile Association, vehicle related crashes continue to be the leading cause of death for teens in Massachusetts.

Western Mass News investigated what’s causing these teen crashes and how parents can help reverse that trend. Each year teens across the state graduate from a learner’s permit to a Massachusetts state issued license leaving many young drivers to learn the rules of the road in real-time.
