One has to question the status of Prime Minister Mark Carney on the world stage as he is “trumpily” recognized as “President” Carney by the U.S. president at the recent peace summit in Egypt.
Notwithstanding his dubious FOMO appearance with other world leaders, Carney has declared his intention to be a peacemaker in the volatile Middle East. However his contributions to the challenging and noble cause of peacemaking must be first and foremost to his home country, reinforcing and upholding the Canadian values of freedom and security for all, balancing foreign policy with community safety.
