Sault-Algoma MP Terry Sheehan announced the funding Wednesday at Insightworks, a Sault Ste. Marie high-tech, digital solutions company that got its start through SSMIC more than a decade ago.
Most of the funding, $953,000, will be used to support the SSMIC’s Innovation Acceleration Program. The program provides training and contributions to regional businesses for digital advancement and technology adoption.
The funding will allow SSMIC to offe
