One bicyclist was killed and two others injured in a collision Monday in Huntington Beach.

Police were called just after 6:45 a.m. to Pacific Coast Highway and Newland Street, where the three cyclists were struck by a vehicle, police said.

One of the bicyclists was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to hospitals to be treated for significant injuries, police said.

Amber Calderon, 43, of Long Beach, was driving a 2006 Mercedes E-Class car that struck the bicyclists, who were in a bike lane, and kept going for about half a mile before stopping, police said. She was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run, gross vehicular manslaughter and possession of narcotics, police said.
