GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Police are investigating a pair of incidents from a No Kings rally in downtown Grand Rapids where motorists and pedestrians clashed.

Thousands of protestors marched along Monroe Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 18, as part of a third round of demonstrations against President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies.

The rally was also in conjunction with a day of nationwide protests , with about 100 locations in Michigan.

Early in the march, photos captured and shared with MLive/The Grand Rapids Press showed protestors struck by a vehicle attempting to enter a parking garage near Calder Plaza.
