PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — J.L. "Lynn" Singleton, the longtime president and CEO of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), was honored by WaterFire Providence at its FireBall Gala last week.

Singleton received the WaterFire Civic Impact Award for his "leadership in the Rhode Island arts community," according to PPAC.

"Lynn's lifelong dedication to making the performing arts accessible and vibrant in Rhode Island reflects a deep belief in the power of creativity to bring people together, enrich communities, and inspire collective pride," WaterFire said in its announcement.
