While the future of speed cameras remains an unanswered question, Ward 11 Coun. Bill Leduc believes the province should reimburse municipalities for some of the costs incurred as a result of the program’s cancellation.
At Tuesday’s council meeting, Leduc will introduce a motion aimed at recouping some of the costs associated with the proposed elimination of the automated speed enforcement (ASE) program – or speed cameras.
