New Marshalls and HomeGoods stores soon will be opening in California as the parent company expands its footprint with more than a dozen new locations across the nation, representatives said.
TJX, which also oversees T.J. Maxx , Sierra, and HomeSense stores, touts itself as an "off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions." According to its website, the company was founded in 1976 and operates stores in nine countries across three continents. The company said in its second-quarter earnings report that it owned and operated 1,340 T.J. Maxx locations.
