ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The city of Albany will be aglow with lantern light on November 2. The Albany Lantern Parade is set to return for its 10th year.

In a celebration of community, creativity and light, attendees are invited to make their own lanterns and walk with them around Washington Park. The Albany High School Jazz Ensemble will provide music.

Those interested can either make their lanterns at home following this Youtube video, or attend a lantern-making workshop at the Albany Public Library Delaware Branch on Tuesday at 4 p.m. -- participants should bring a clear, clean empty bottle. Battery-operated candles will be provided during the walk.

Attendees can begin gathering at the Washington Park Lakehouse at 4:30 p.m., with the parade beginning at 5:15 p.m. Refreshments will be
