HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It was a windy day to start the week with gusts around 35 to 45 mph across the area. These came as a cold front swept through the region this morning that also brought some cloud cover and a few sprinkles. We look to stay dry for much of this week, but a few rain chances could return Thursday night. Temperatures tonight fall into the mid 30’s across western Nebraska, low 40’s here in the Tri-Cities and central Nebraska, with mid 40’s to the east. Skies clear out this evening and stay clear into the day tomorrow as temperatures warm into the low to mid 60’s. Winds will be strong once again across eastern Nebraska around 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Winds will decrease through the afternoon into the evening and stay lighter throughout the rest of the week. Rain
