A Waterford resident is facing charges that began with a licence plate hit for an expired plate on Trussler Road.
Police said on their social media Monday officers pulled a vehicle over after an Automated License Plate Recognition alert, but found a slew of problems besides an expired plate.
The vehicle, police said, also had a cracked windshield, a faulty airbag and a broken emergency brake. The driver also had no insurance.
The Waterford resident was charged with permitting the use of an unsafe vehicle and permitting the operation of a motor vehicle with no insurance.
