DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A Durham County Judge set a $700,000 bond for Krista Winston, 44, who is accused of human trafficking and forced prostitution of a disabled teen.

On Monday, Judge Kevin Jones also ruled that if Winston posts bond, she’s not allowed to have any contact with the victim.

Court documents show Winston is charged multiple counts of felony human trafficking a child, servitude of a child, and sexual servitude of a child. Investigators say the alleged victim is a 17 year-old-girl.

“I saw the police up there and the social worker down here parked. I saw them take her up there in cuffs and put her in the car,” said one of Winston's neighbors, who wished to remain anonymous.

Durham police arrested Winston at her Damar Court apartment Friday.
