GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - During times of uncertainty, nonprofits can struggle when trying to receive funds.
Thankfully, two local organizations stepped in to help fund Choice Family Healthcare so they can continue their program to help identify and reduce STIs.
The Bud & Gloria Wolbach Foundation as well as the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation are giving financial support to the central Nebraska nonprofit.
It means a lot to Executive Director Ryan King to have other organizations help pitch in to make this possible.
“It’s a big deal for us,” said King. “Not only the dollars to help support the program, it really just tells me and it tells our staff about the work that they’re doing everyday and that it matters.”
They not only help assist with STI testing, but they also pro
