WEST BRANCH, Iowa (KTIV) - Who’s is the president of the United States of America who has roots in Iowa? Herbert Hoover, of course!

He is the only Iowan elected president who died 61 years ago in October.

Hoover was 88 years old in 1962 when he dedicated his presidential library and museum in West Branch, Iowa.

He told the gathering, “With in these libraries are thrilling records of supreme action by the American people.”
