Lily Allen’s return to music will officially arrive later this week with the release of her first album in seven years.

The English singer’s new album, “West End Girl,” will drop on Friday, Oct. 24, Allen revealed on Instagram Monday. The project will follow Allen’s last album, “No Shame,” which came out in 2018.

“I’m nervous,” Allen said in a statement sent to Rolling Stone . “The record is vulnerable in a way that my music perhaps hasn’t been before — certainly not over the course of a whole album.”

The singer told Rolling Stone the album was inspired by her time living in New York City after moving there in 2020. Allen married actor David Harbour that same year. However, the couple divorced four years later and Allen moved back to London as a result.
